These tools include our billing system, helpdesk, shopping cart, and even custom WordPress plugins our customers use.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must have:

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with working in a remote agile development environment

  • Drive and motivation to learn, lead and contribute

  • Experience and comfort with object oriented principles, design and techniques

  • Experience with responsive web application software development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • We work primarily in PHP, so you should have deep experience with at least one general purpose programming language, and either have PHP experience or be comfortable quickly picking it up

  • Experience with SQL databases

  • 10 years of experience in a program language

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in other programming languages and frameworks a plus, e.g. Angular, TypeScript, Laravel

  • Comfortable with penguins, proficiency in linux command line

  • Experience with TDD, test automation, CI/CD, Docker, Gitlab/Github, version control systems e.g. git

  • Good understanding of DevOps and a customer focus

  • Experience working on a remote development team

  • Extensive experience in consuming APIs

The Solutions Specialist (SS) works directly with current and prospective clients throughout the sales and the upgrade process. The SS is the front-line answering phone calls, tickets, and live chat, as needed. The SS will identify opportunities and engage with clients to deliver a white glove sales experience. The SS will work with Sales Engineers to provide custom configurations. The SS will work with Support Leadership to ensure proper follow-through on preset expectations. The SS will focus on the long-term client relationship rather than push sales on clients.

1. Answer warm sales inquiries via phone calls, tickets, and Live Chats - no cold calling
2. Work with the client to understand their actual needs and suggest the appropriate
service and plan.
3. Escalate complex sales inquiries to Sales Engineers.
4. Maintain CRM records and ensure data is added and updated regularly.
5. Provide weekly sales performance report to Sales Lead.

Expectations: The SS will be expected to:
1. Identify customer business goals and needs rather than push sales.
2. Focus on the long-term client relationship rather than short term revenue.
3. Focus on building partnerships.
4. Leverage our support and engineering team to create creative solutions for our clients.
5. Follow up with clients quarterly to ensure we are meeting their needs.
6. Work with others in a team.
7. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills while
displaying a high energy level and positive attitude.
8. Identify and develop strategies to overcome obstacles in the prospect’s decision-making
9. Be a self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.

The shift for this role is Sun-Thu 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM Eastern Time.

Position Overview:

Migrations Specialists facilitate the onboarding of new clients and fulfill existing client requests by performing website migrations. By collaborating with Technical Support Staff, Migrations Specialists are expected to deliver an unsurpassed support experience to all A2 Hosting Clients.

Job responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the website migration lifecycle, including communicating with the customer regarding any relevant pre-migration information, performing the migration and following-up with the customer to address any post-migration concerns.
  • Follow support policies and procedures as set by the Leadership Team.
  • Meet with Leadership Team regularly and provide feedback on workflow and processes.
  • Resolve migration requests within established service level agreement (SLA).
  • Resolve client requests by adhering to the established migration workflow.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
